About us

We’re The Springers, a Bristol three-piece playing rock ’n’ roll, blues and soul. Guitar, bass, drums and a whole lot of energy.

We play older tunes we love alongside songs of our own, with Little Richard, Hendrix, Nina Simone and The Beatles all in the mix. Our set keeps growing — there’s always another song we fancy playing.

We’ve played The Louisiana, Bristol Beacon and private parties. Wherever we’re playing, we love getting people dancing.

Danny

Lead guitar & vocals

I’m usually playing an instrument, writing songs or tinkering with electronics. My favourite pianist is Fats Domino and I’ve been hooked on Paul McCartney my whole life.

Lola

Drums

Between going on walks and making things, I bloody love to drum. My favourite drummers include Matt Cameron, Karen Carpenter, Mitch Mitchell and Keith Moon.

Ollie

Bass

I help ground the band with silky sub frequencies. Jan Akkerman and George Harrison first inspired me to pick up a guitar, and I love Kate Bush and Jaap van Eik.
